HURLING PLAYER OF THE MONTH
February 19, 2022 HURLING PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Alongside our sponsors Danske Bank, Ulster Schools recognise the achievements of a footballer and hurler every month from across the spectrum of ongoing games and competitions.
For January, the Danske Bank Hurling Player of the Month is Callagh Mooney from St Killian’s College Garron Tower.
Callagh put in a series of impressive performances from half back for St Killian’s as they defeated St Mary’s CBS Belfast and OLASP Knock enroute to the Danske Bank Foresters Cup Final. His driving runs, pinpoint passing and committed defending made him the stand out player in a campaign that ultimately finished with success in the Final last week
