Alongside our sponsors, Danske Bank, Ulster Schools GAA recognises the achievements of a young player every month from across the spectrum of ongoing games and competitions.

For October, the Hurling Player of the Month is Liam Blaney from Our Lady and St Patrick’s College Knock.

Liam is a member of Carryduff GAC and played Centre half forward in the Mageean Cup and was nominated based off his skill and ability. The Dual Star stands out on any pitch which has been noticed by multiple schools across Ulster.
