LEONARD CUP ?
⬛️? Cross and Passion Ballycastle 3-04
⬜️?⬛️ St Patrick’s Maghera 3-11
St Patrick’s Maghera claimed the Danske Bank U15.5 Leonard Cup title yesterday afternoon following victory over Cross & Passion Ballycastle in a pulsating final at All Saints GAC.
The Derry side had lead by four points at the break, 2-5 to 2-1, but were reeled in just after half time when Cross & Passion level matters and threatened to cause a shock. However, that scare only served to kickstart the Maghera challenge again, and they closed out the game with 1-4 as captain Padraig O’Kane lifted the cup ?⚾️
