For May, the Hurler Player of the Month is Oran McAnarney from St Colman’s Newry.

Oran is a member of Éire Óg, Ballela and played Midfield in the U14.5 McFarland Cup scoring 10 points in the final. The Éire Óg player stands out on any pitch which has been noticed by Down GAA receiving a Poc Fada. Maith thú Oran!
