Hurler of The Month – June 2026

Alongside our sponsors, Danske Bank, Ulster Schools GAA recognises the achievements of a young player every month from across the spectrum of ongoing games and competitions.

For June, our Hurling Player of the Month is Dillon McErlean from St. Colm’s High School, Draperstown

A member of Ballinascreen GAC and a midfielder for his school, Dillon produced an outstanding display in St Colm’s High School Brother Mallon Cup final victory, contributing 0-5 from midfield. His energy, work rate and composure stood out throughout the game, as he consistently drove his team forward and made a huge impact. Dillon also enjoyed recent success with Ballinascreen, helping the club to Féile na nGael Region 3 champions! An excellent month for both school and club.

Maith thú, Dillon!
