Danske Bank Sciath na nÓg Final.
St Joseph’s Donaghmore 1-7 Scoileanna Inis Eoghain 1-5
ALTHOUGH Scoileanna Inis Eoghain failed to score during the opening half of this Danske Bank Sciath na nÓg in Killyclogher, they managed to keep St Joseph’s Donaghmore scoreless during the second half, but still couldn’t overhaul the Tyrone side.
Darragh Donaghy hit the Donaghmore goal in the 19th minute and he and Noah Grimes were central to putting the mid-Ulster school 1-7 to 0-0 ahead at the break.
Two points from Kevin Lynch and a goal from Conor Graham reduced the deficit after six minutes of second half, but Inis Eoghain could not pick off enough scores in the last 25 minutes to overtake Donaghmore, although they may thank goalie Leo Quinn who saved well from Lynch two minutes from full time.
