Footballer of The Month – June 2026

Alongside our sponsors, Danske Bank, Ulster Schools GAA recognises the achievements of a young player every month from across the spectrum of ongoing games and competitions.

For June, our Football Player of the Month is Jake Booth from Sperrin Integrated College

A member of O’Donovan Rossa GAC Magherafelt and a midfielder for his school, Jake played a key role in Sperrin Integrated College’s U13.5 Flynn Cup success. He stood out in the final with his relentless work rate, positive attitude and determination, making a huge impact from midfield. Having only taken up Gaelic in Year 8, Jake has embraced the sport with a never-say-die attitude and has quickly established himself as an outstanding athlete and ambassador for sport within his school.

Maith thú, Jake!
