Footballer of The Month – April 2026

 PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Alongside our sponsors, Danske Bank, Ulster Schools GAA recognises the achievements of a young player every month from across the spectrum of ongoing games and competitions.

For April, our Football Player of the Month is Joe Hamilton from Castleblayney College

A member of Oram Sarsfields GFC and a midfielder for his school, Joe impressed with his work rate, determination and attitude throughout the month. Having helped his team reach the JJ Reilly final, Joe showed great leadership and continued to battle hard from start to finish on the day. A committed player who is always willing to learn and improve, Joe’s positive attitude and dedication to developing his skills made him a standout performer in the final.

Maith thú, Joe!
