Footballer of The Month – September 2026
October 16, 2026
PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Alongside our sponsors, Danske Bank, Ulster Schools GAA recognises the achievements of a young player every month from across the spectrum of ongoing games and competitions.
For September, the Football Player of the Month is Thomas Hawe from St. Pius X College Magherafelt.
A member of Lavey GAC and playing Midfield for the school, Thomas was nominated based off his performances in the Rafferty cup, leading by example across all three group-stage matches.
Operating from midfield, he has demonstrated excellent work rate, determination and a strong influence on the team’s performances. His standout display came against Knock, where he delivered an exceptional individual performance, contributing an impressive 0-7.
Maith thú Thomas!
