Corn Mhic Neasa heading to Limavady
December 17, 2025
Congratulations to St Mary’s Limavady on a superb achievement in claiming the Corn Mhic Neasa Ulster Final title following an impressive victory over St Patrick’s Dungannon. Reaching an Ulster final is a major accomplishment in itself, and St Mary’s showed great determination, skill, and composure to rise to the occasion on such a prestigious stage.
From the opening exchanges, St Mary’s Limavady demonstrated their quality with disciplined defending, sharp attacking play, and excellent teamwork across the field. The players showed tremendous work rate and commitment, executing their game plan with confidence and responding positively to every challenge posed by a strong St Patrick’s Dungannon side.
This success is a reflection of the dedication and effort shown by the entire panel throughout the season. Credit must go to the players for their hard work, as well as to the management team and coaches who prepared the squad so thoroughly for this campaign. Their guidance and support were clearly evident in the team’s organisation and belief during the final.
Commendations are also due to St Patrick’s Dungannon, who battled bravely and contributed to a high-quality Ulster final that showcased the very best of schools’ Gaelic games. This victory will be remembered with pride by the St Mary’s Limavady school community, and it stands as a testament to the strength of Ulster Schools GAA and the bright future ahead for these talented young players.
